Hailed by The New York Times as an "Exemplary Leader" for his Carnegie Hall performance with members of the New York Philharmonic, violinist Daniel Andai has shared his versatile artistry, as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician and recording artist, in major concert venues across five continents, the Middle East, the Caribbean and over 25 United States.  He has made special appearances with important classical and pop artists as well as for important world dignitaries.

Named one of "20 under 40" from both Poder Magazine and The Miami Herald for exerting influence over the arts, he is also a prize winner in national and international competitions.  As soloist with orchestras, he has been featured in North, South and Central Americas, as well as Europe and Russia.  

Daniel Andai was appointed the concertmaster of The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) in 2008  where he founded the Special Development Program.  He has performed as a soloist with MISO at the Arsht, New World and Gusman Centers and has recorded and can be heard as a soloist on their Evening in Vienna CD.  Former concertmaster position include the New York based, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas (POA) with whom he recorded, as soloist and concertmaster, the Billboard’s highly rated SONY Classical CD’s, Mi Alma Mexicana, and was a featured soloist on their tour throughout Mexico, Vermont and in New York (Lincoln Center).  His televised solo appearances at the Auditorio National and the Angel of Independence, for a crowd of millions during Mexico’s Bicentennial Celebrations, are highly regarded.  Daniel Andai performed as concertmaster and soloist in Strauss' Don Quixote with the Filarmonica de Minas Gerais and cellist Antonio Menesses.  Most recently,  he returned to Mexico as a guest concertmaster of the Orquesta de Mineria with soloist Placido Domingo for a sold out performance in Mexico.  During the summers, he serves as a concertmaster of the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra (Switzerland) and the Nice Academy Orchestra (France).

As a violin professor, appointments included are the Marialice Shivers endowed chair as the Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin at the University of Texas Pan American, the Miami-Dade College, New World School of the Arts, and the Killington Music Festival in Vermont. He has served on the advisory board for the City of Aventura Performing Arts Centerand Miami-Dade Cultural Affairs Grant Panels and is currently on the board of the Miami Symphony Orchestra.  Former teachers include NY Philharmonic concertmaster Glenn Dicterow, Lisa Kim, Sergiu Schwartz, Ruggiero Ricci and David Oistrack pupil, Cyrus Forough.  He holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music Orchestral Program (Rafael Bronstein Award and the Helen F. Whitaker Scholarship recipient) and the Conservatory of Music at Lynn University in Florida.
