We also performed SOLD OUT
concerts in New York's Lincoln Center...
where the New York Times
wrote:
"A
lyrical dialogue unfolded between orchestra and solo
violin, whose melodic lines were expressively performed
here by Daniel Andai."
After POA was featured on Good
Morning America, our tour took us to L.A. where we
played with Grammy Award Winner Gustavo Santaolalla
and Bajofondo
at the L.A. Philharmonic Disney Hall! There, we
performed to another SOLD OUT crowd and brought
down the house!
It was probably one of the most
intense, crazy, exhilarating concerts I have ever
played. The audience, the orchestra and the band
went WILD! Even my fearless conductor and dear friend,
Alo, learned electric guitar licks for the concert -
Surprises happened on all fronts of the hall.

At the Killington Music
Festival...
I had the privilege of teaching,
performing and conducting master classes in beautiful
Killington, Vermont. It was an inspiring place to
meet other creative artists and fellow professors from
around the country. Many represented major
institutions including the New England Conservatory,
Boston Conservatory, Arizona University, Boston
University, University of North Texas and Harvard.
I was highly impressed by the level of many students I
worked with in addition to the insightful questions they
asked in the panel discussions.
Congratulations to all those that
performed in the concerts and master classes!
You can hear Allyson Eldredge
(Music Director), Tae Kim and I on VPR (Vermont Public
Radio) performing Schonfield's Cafe Music.

The Miami Symphony Orchestra...
hosted an amazing Gala ending this
year's season. DJ Irie was phenomenal, the staff
was supportive, the fashion was CHIC (honoring Carolina
Herrera and others), and MISO beautifully displayed a
potpourri of our repertoire.
Thank you for a great time and a
wonderful season!

The ARTS for LIFE luncheon...
hosted by Former Governor and
First Lady of Florida, Jeb and Columba Bush, was
presented
in Tampa's Straz Performing Arts
Center. I was an invited Panelist and Speaker,
addressing important topics to this years scholarship
winners. I had the pleasure of speaking alongside
artist, Romero Britto and other leading professionals in
their respective, artistic fields.
In addition to the panel
discussions, there were fabulous performances and an art
exhibit of our State's finest, young artists.
Divisions represented were: dance, theater, music and
visual arts.

AMZ Records goes INTERNATIONAL...
A recording label I have worked
with in Miami for over 11 years released another hit
single throughout the Caribbean and South America.
I am the featured violinist on their new music video
with featured soloists, Lorenzo Duarte and Santi Duo,
winner of the Latin American Idol!

Miami-Dade County's Cultural
Affair Grant Panel...
was a wonderful experience.
I was glad to be on such a prestigious panel among many
well versed individuals from such incredibly diverse
fields. Each of us gave our spin, through our
creative lingo, on many of our county's cultural
organizations.
